TWO super nutritious SMOOTHIES that will INCREASE your ENERGY and help you REDUCE your WAIST size!

Smoothies are convenient and healthy alternatives to other drinks and foods. They are a great way to add healthy nutrients to your diet. They increase energy, improve digestion, boost the immune system.

Some of them can help you reduce sugar cravings and replace coffee. Here are my two favourite recipes. Try the proportions I suggest and if you prefer more/less of different flavours, adjust these quantities to satisfy your taste.

Chocolate smoothie:

50 ml canned coconut milk

1 tbsp cocoa powder

1 flat tsp of wheat grass powder

1 handful of frozen raspberries

1/8 tsp cinnamon

Pinch of Himalayan salt

150 ml cold water

Two ice cubes

Blend these ingredients together for 30-60 sec. Enjoy! It is a perfect afternoon coffee replacement for me!

Lift Me Up - Raspberry/matcha smoohie

50 ml canned coconut milk

1 tsp matcha powder

1 flat tsp of Blooming You kale powder (https://www.blooming-you.co.uk/)

1 flat tsp of Blooming You spinach powder

1 flat tsp of Blooming You cranberry powder

1 handful of frozen raspberries

1/8 tsp cinnamon

1/8 tsp turmeric powder

1/8 tsp ginger powder

Pinch of Himalayan salt

150 ml cold water

Two ice cubes

Blend these ingredients together for 30-60 sec. Enjoy this amazing flavour and don’t forget that match is a stimulant, so don’t drink it too late in the day!

These smoothies are not sweet.

Chocolate one resembles black, slightly bitter coffee and Raspberry/matcha one is fresh and sour. They are perfect if you are trying to limit the amount of sugar in your diet and experience different flavours. Without sugar, other flavours are coming forward and it is a brand-new experience.

Yet you still can make them sweater. Add a banana for fruity flavour or 1-2 dates that taste like caramel.

To add some protein to it you can either add 1-2 egg whites or a spoon of nut butter. Beware that the nut butter will also increase the fat content in this smoothie.
