But here’s the thing – the build-up of fatigue doesn’t start with motherhood. Our modern lifestyle encourages us to see rest as laziness, and we’re often told that success means pushing ourselves harder (take Arnie’s advice to “sleep faster” as an example). So, many of us enter motherhood already fatigued, unaware of how to rest and care for ourselves. Now, with a little one to take care of, we’re left wondering how to fit it all into an already stressful life.
